Although the Christmas holiday just recently passed I wanted to take a moment and reflect on some of the incredible things that I noticed during this special time of year.  As I mentioned earlier, Genesis PURE™ has been fortunate enough to feed the homeless each month this year and the company and employees did a complete Sub for Santa for 3 separate families who would of otherwise not had the opportunity to truly enjoy Christmas.  What a great team of employees that I work with who are so willing to step up and do all that they can to help others. 

Speaking of that I also wanted to mention another great example to me.  Recently in the Lubbock, TX area a preacher had the unfortunate incident where his home burned to the ground.  Without hesitation our Chairman Heather Burnett jumped in her car and drove out to meet with the family to see how she could help.  After organizing a group Heather and Jared personally provided an entire Christmas for this beautiful family.  I get emotional when thinking about how Jared and Heather stepped up and made such a huge difference in their community for someone they had never met before but did everything in their power to make it a beautiful Christmas for them without hesitation.  It's not only the words that we speak but our actions, and their actions speak louder than any words that anyone could have expressed this holiday season. 

A special thanks to Jared and Heather for your example and thank you to everyone who is associated with Genesis PURE for making this a special holiday.  I hope and pray that all of us will continue to look for additional ways to help during the coming year.
