Builder Mode

Builder vs Manager

I once saw a short video depicting a Stick Figure Man pushing a snowball up a hill.  It showed how difficult it can be doing something that might seem impossible at times, yet is doable with consistent effort and diligence.  I remember how this stick figured character would pause at times being totally exhausted from the struggle…AND if he let up, even just for a moment, the large ball would come rolling backwards and ALL of this efforts would be lost.  He could either give up…. or work harder to accomplish his goal.  What’s interesting is…. once he got it to the top it seemed to take on its on energy or power and it rolled down the other side easily and with little effort and all he had to do is guide it to where he wanted it to go.

Building a Direct Sales Team is very similar in a lot of regards to the example of pushing a snowball uphill.  During the BUILDING phase of this process, it may sometime feel like you’re alone doing it all by yourself.  AND if you stop PUSHING… it can all come tumbling down and everything you have done is lost.  Sometimes it may seem like you will NEVER make it to the TOP. 

What’s interesting about this is “THE TOP” is different for each of us.  AND if we go into MANAGEMENT mode BEFORE we get to THE TOP…ALL CAN BE LOST.

The compensation plan with QSciences has two distinct aspects that we can use to tell if we are in BUILDER MODE or MANAGEMENT MODE.

First, we have what are called PROMOTIONAL SALES.  Promotional sales are when someone purchases a BUSINESS PACK or other similar items when they first enroll.  These are used to help PROMOTE their business.  PROMOTIONAL SALES generate commission BONUS’ that are paid weekly and are for the most part ONE-TIME SALES.  These are designed to give you faster, larger commissions during this BUILDER PHASE of building your QSciences business.

RETAIL Customers, PREFERRED Customers and the PERSONAL orders of yourself and your TEAM MEMBERS are the LONG-TERM RESIDUAL sales that give your business stability and strength.  It will also be the larger part of your income over time.

So the question I ask is this… Are you in BUILDER MODE or MANAGEMENT MODE?

As your group grows there is a balance between recruiting new people and training and working with those you have already recruited.  Finding that balance is critical to keeping the ball moving uphill during the BUILDER MODE so you can enjoy MANAGEMENT MODE of guiding your team once you’ve got the income you are looking for from QSciences.  Recruiting and developing LEADERS is key to this process…It is impossible to do it ALL by yourself.

So…the SECRET to success with the Q is NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give up!
