Can you be Trusted?

It is amazing how many people put trust into untrustworthy people.  The fact is all trustworthy people do and as we know from personal eXperience it usually turns out as a learning lesson.

Here is the greatest lesson I can share about people.  "People see the world through their own beliefs and experiences, if your honest, everyone around you is honest. If someone think everyone is trying to take advantage of them, it is usually the fact that person is trying to gain advantage over everyone else.

I worked with a guy who thought everyone was "out to get him"  when in fact I watched him undermine all around him" until he destroyed himself.

The question is, do you let the actions of others ruin your view on life?  Many good people do, and after working with people like that, I cant blame them for taking that action.  Its hard when you trust people only to see them ultimately show their true colors.

Hope of the day: I hope all good people continue " to see the others through their eyes and help and build" and not be tainted by those who tear others down.

One key to spot a person you may not trust is look at his circle at work,  if the person has constant turnover with employees who work directly with the them,  that is a problem.  Why they see things you don't from the outside. As a business man it is one thing I look at before making any hires, is the persons ability to attract and then keep talent. Eventually that person ends up with, as my dad says, "bottom of the barrel people and that spells the eventual end to all good things". So if the person you want to trust cant keep good people around them, there is a reason.

The great thing about truth and time is eventually they meet!  Daren Hogge
